Connect V2.6.1 and newer

In Connect V2.6.1 we introduced full UI translations for Italian, Spanish, French, German and Simplfied Chinese.

Connect V2.5.0 - V2.6.0

V2.5.0 introduced partial support for some languages (Italian, Spanish, French, German and Simplfied Chinese).

This is presently limited to menu and parameter names ONLY. The Connect application itself is not translated.

When you select the language in the 'Change language' dialog, you may notice the message "This language is used only for parameter data (captions, etc.)". This is Connect's way of telling you that you'll see the selected language used only for parameter names and menu names and English will be used in most other places.

There may be cases where some parameters don't have localised names, especially for newer parameters. We are working hard to improve the parameter database translations and also bring in application UI translations - the first of these, German, we hope to bring you in V2.6.1 followed by French and Chinese shortly after.

The partial language support was added in V2.5 primarily to support programming keypad strings.
