The Control Techniques library "CT User Program Runtime Library" is, by default, provided with the Machine Control Studio programming system.

 

It contains a number of low level functions required for the user program created with Machine Control Studio, to allow interaction with the drive and option modules. The read and write functions in this library are used by other Control Techniques libraries, the need for users to directly use these functions are limited to accessing parameters that are not defined in a device parameter access library.

 

It is recommended that parameter libraries are always used for interacting with parameters. i.e. CT Unidrive M Parameter Library
